I founded Selah Systems because I saw a real gap. Most consultants overcomplicate what they do and oversell solutions. But I know from experience that business owners don't need hype. They need clarity and honest help.
I learned this hands-on as Administrative Director at Etico Concrete, my dad's concrete business in Arizona. My mentor, Rocky Geans, recognized that I think in systems and encouraged me to apply that to our operations. What I found was a business doing a lot of analog work. People were managing schedules in multiple places, processes weren't consistent, handoffs between teams were unclear, and there was no real visibility into project finances or where things stood.
So I built an operational system from the ground up. I mapped workflows, clarified roles, documented processes, and created tools that everyone could use. The transformation was real. The business went from reactive and scattered to organized and intentional. Time was freed up. Processes became consistent. People actually wanted to use the systems because they made their jobs easier. And the business was able to scale without adding chaos.
That's what changed for me. I realized that the gap between a business that's drowning and a business that's thriving isn't always some fancy solution. It's systems thinking. It's clarity. It's implementation. And I know that if I can do it for my family's business, I can help other business owners who feel stuck figure out how to do it too.
